Privacy
Bagel Mom runs standing weekly bagel orders for households and the shops that fill them. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Phone numbers and first names of the people in your household, and the household name you choose.
- Your standing order, the shop you picked, your schedule, away dates and order history.
- The text messages you send to and receive from Bagel Mom.
- Payment details, which are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We keep only a reference to your card and its last four digits.
- Basic usage data about how pages are used, collected without advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To send your weekly check-in and confirmation texts, and the sign-in codes you request.
- To place and charge your order and tell the shop what to prepare.
- To run, secure and improve the service.
Who we share it with
- Your shop sees the household name, first names, the last four digits of phone numbers, and each week's order so it can prepare and hand over your bag.
- Service providers who run Bagel Mom for us: Twilio (texts), Stripe (payments), Vercel and Neon (hosting and data).
- We do not sell personal information, and we never share phone numbers or text opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop messages. Reply START to resume.
- Pause or cancel your standing order at any time from your account.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your data at hello@bagelmom.com. We answer within 30 days.
Retention
We keep order and message history while your household is active and for up to two years after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it.
Children
Bagel Mom is for adults. Household members who receive texts must be 18 or older.
