Terms of service
These terms cover your use of Bagel Mom, a service that runs a standing weekly order for your household at a participating bagel shop. By starting a standing order you agree to them.
How the standing order works
- You choose a shop, a usual order and a schedule. We text you before each pickup with that week's order.
- You can confirm, skip or change the order until the cutoff shown in the text, usually 8pm the night before.
- For your first two weeks, an order goes ahead only if someone in your household confirms it. After two confirmed weeks, autopilot turns on: an order with no reply by the cutoff goes ahead as shown.
- At the cutoff we charge your card for the order at the shop's listed prices.
- The shop prepares your order. Pick it up during the pickup window shown in your account.
Membership
Your first month is free. After that the membership is $6.00 a month, billed to the card on file until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account; the membership stops at the end of the current month.
Orders, refunds and problems
- Food is sold by the shop at its prices. The shop is responsible for what it prepares.
- If an order is missing, wrong or not collected because of a mistake by us or the shop, tell us within 48 hours and we'll refund or credit it. Orders not collected for other reasons are not refunded.
- Prices and menu items can change. The weekly text always shows that week's items and total.
Texts
The weekly text is how the service works. See the text message terms for frequency, costs and how to opt out.
Your account
- Only add phone numbers of adults in your household who agree to receive texts.
- You're responsible for orders confirmed from phones in your household.
Limits
Bagel Mom is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
